Education starts at an early age, the sooner the better. We begin as early as 1 with structure and discipline. Each classroom, beginning with our little One's, has an hourly schedule and a weekly lesson plan. Lesson plans include activities to improve both gross and fine motor skills, food and nutrition, science, math, music and movement. We utilize DLM Learning Express for the VPK program, which is approved by the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County. The weekly curriculum and daily lesson plans prepare the VPK children for rwading and writing and get them ready for kindergsrten.
For all of our pre-schoolers, we have "Mother Goose", which is a hands on approcah to teaching using arts and crafts to enforce the daily lesson plan.
Children learn by emulating what they see. We strive to keep a happy and positive environement while learning and growing together. By keeping a schedule, children learn structure and discipline. We keep children busy with school work and activities so that they dont have time to misbehave. This sets the tone throughout their schooling.
Our school participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). The CACFP is a federal program run by the USDA’s Food Nutrition Services Dept. The primary goal of the CACFP is to improve the nutrition of children 12 years of age and younger. The program provides support to licensed child care programs to provide high quality, nutritious, and appealing meals and snacks to infants and children in our care as well as learning activities that support the growth and development of healthy eating habits. The CACFP strives to give children the foundation they will need to make healthy eating choices and good nutrition a part of their everyday lives.
We understand many children have dietary restrictions due to allergies, religious beliefs and/or personal preferences. Should you wish to limit or forbid certain food items for any reason, please notify us beforehand and we will ensure that no offensive food item is served to your child.
We accept Florida and Orange County's Tuition Assistance Program, 4C. Community Coordinated Care for Children is an excellent resource for those who qualify for tuition assistance. Click the link below to find out more, as well as apply.
